Michael McClellan brings over 25 years of B2B experience in the areas of strategic marketing, market research, demand generation, inside sales management, and B2B growth program design and execution to the Ascension team.
For Ascension, Mike helps clients accelerate revenue growth, improve sales pipeline performance, and increase customer intimacy. He is a former brand manager for Monsanto Company and founded a successful B2B demand generation and market research services firm.
Mike’s B2B demand generation and inside sales management experience includes direct support for a wide range of enterprise and mid-sized B2B firms, including Acuity Brands, BASF, Canada Life, DuPont, FMC, GE Energy, Huber Engineered Materials, Interface Flooring, Inventus Power, Monsanto, Siemens Industry, and many others.
He has developed and executed a wide range of demand generation and sales enablement applications, including lead qualification, telesales/inside sales, and account reactivation programs, as well as account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives and marketing/sales promotional campaigns.
He is an accomplished qualitative market researcher having conducted a wide range of customer roundtable, customer satisfaction, competitive intelligence, product positioning and concept testing, and customer experience related initiatives for large enterprise organizations including AmerisourceBergen, GE Healthcare, GE Industrial Solutions, John Deere, Mölnlycke Health Care, Monsanto, and the United States Dept. of Agriculture.
Mike graduated Iowa State University, and studied Marketing at Northern Illinois University’s MBA Program. He is also associated with the Business Marketing Association (BMA – now ANA Business Marketing) and the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA). He and his family reside in Atlanta, GA.
