Content Marketing Specialist
Laura Colton is a University of Georgia graduate with a degree in English Literature and certificate in New Media. Laura has a passion for storytelling, a thirst for knowledge, and brings a sharp eye for detail and design to every job.
For Ascension, Laura supports clients with marketing and sales communication support through custom traditional and digital brand and product focused content development. She works hand in hand with the Ascension design team to create web copy, digital ads, custom publication and blog material, and traditional sales collateral. She also develops custom client specific material to power the Ascension ContentCast, GaaS (Growth Programming as a Service), BrandRight offerings.
In her last role, she was responsible for managing content for the Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) Owners Association’s website, creating compelling internal and external communications, helping execute the organization’s communication strategy, editing IHG OWNER magazine and pioneering new and exciting ways to engage members.
When she isn’t writing award winning copy and creating breakthrough marketing moments, Laura is either feeding her ramen addiction, curled up reading a mystery novel, or putting her Bob Ross inspired painting skills to good use.
Laura lives with her cat and resides in the Atlanta area.
