Adopting Purposeful Selling

PT International is a Charlotte, NC based manufacturer of European metric and American standard industrial power transmission products.

The company designs and manufactures bearing assemblies, belt drive systems, and bushings.

PTI engaged Ascension to bring its Purposeful Selling training workshops to their inside sales, customer service, and outside sales teams.

Customized Ascension “Remote Selling Excellence” and “Art of Selling” workshops were designed and delivered on site.

As is customary with all Ascension Purposeful Training workshops the program included custom content and special retention tools to reprise key consultative sales concepts long after training workshops were over.

Additionally scenario-based role plays built around real world PT International customer situations were added to the program. Role plays help participants practice key consultative sales principals and approaches taught in Ascension’s sales training workshops.

The response to the training was so strong that the company asked Ascension to extend the Purposeful Selling program to their national network of outside independent sales reps.
