With over 30 years of experience in the financial and information services space, Alec brings a keen eye for data, analytics, and growth planning to the Ascension team.

Alec is a master at large scale, complex financial and market data analytics using a broad range of  powerful SAS based software tools to analyze and present data that supports growth strategy planning. He is one of the longest tenured consultants on the Ascension team having worked with the firm since its inception in 2004.

During his professional career Alec held senior marketing roles with Equifax, Prudential and Citibank. Today he provides a strong quantitative foundation to information intensive Ascension client engagements. Additionally Alec is an accomplished digital architect and brings his extensive HTML, PHP, and WordPress skills to bear on complex Ascension digital design, web based platforms, and complex digital system architecture challenges.

Alec worked in retail banking and credit card divisions of Citigroup in their NY, Chicago, and Minneapolis offices for over 20 years. From there he moved on to become EVP/Prudential Bank and Trust working in a myriad of critical functional roles and helping the organization grow from a start up to a multi-billion enterprise.

Alec moved from Prudential to Equifax, the credit scoring leader in Atlanta in 1997 to serve as SVP/Marketing before leaving in 1999 to start CollectionsX – a private outsourced accounts receivable and collections management company based in Atlanta.

Alec ventured into management consulting in 2001 focusing initially on providing strategic analytics and growth planning support to emerging technology and healthcare related clients.

Alec is a renowned thought leader and public speaker for the numerous debt, banking and credit industry organizations. He is an economics graduate of Harvard University and is an active member of the Buckhead/Atlanta Rotary Club.
