Mike Howatt is 25 year quantitative and qualitative marketing research industry veteran with extensive large scale data analysis and strategic planning capabilities.
Mike has worked with Ascension since the company’s inception focusing on a broad range of research and data intensive analytical initiatives for global clients across an array of industries. He has a tremendous ability to structure and implement strategic analytics using multiple data sets and the most advanced SAS based analytical tools.
Over his professional career Mike was instrumental in building Retail and Shopper Divisions in Elrick & Lavidge and Synovate Research – two of the largest and most respected marketing research companies in the world.
With significant expertise in the areas of research design and methodology, field research implementation, and data analysis Mike is resourceful and trustworthy. He takes “ownership” of his work and is capable of doing whatever it takes to insure successful, accurate results to benefit Ascension clients.
An expert in customer insight mining, Mike has extensive experience in translating research findings into actionable growth plans and initiatives for clients in the retail, industrial manufacturing and distribution, healthcare, financial services, and consumer products industry verticals.
Mike has a particular expertise in multivariate analysis and complex research design. He has extensive industry experience in multiple verticals including consumer products, technology, telecommunications, automotive, retail, restaurant, education and financial services industries.
Mike also an award winning children’s book author with several titles currently in print and available at major retailers across the country.
He lives and works out of the Chicago area.
